The Face App is a game-changer in the realm of personalized facial treatments. Designed as a high-end concierge mobile service, it offers a range of facial procedures, from Botox and Juvederm to chemical peels, delivered by healthcare providers right to your doorstep. My role was to imbue this innovative platform with a cohesive brand identity, intuitive app UI/UX, and a visually appealing logo that seamlessly merged the letter “F” with a stylized face.
One of the persistent challenges in the facial treatment industry is what could be called ‘commitment hesitation.’ Clients often get cold feet when it comes to confirming their appointment over the phone. Add to that the inconvenience of having to travel for a consultation or treatment, and you have an industry ripe for disruption. The Face App aimed to eliminate these barriers by offering video consultations, where healthcare providers could add procedures in real-time, and in-home treatments for a hassle-free experience.
I approached this unique challenge by focusing on two key areas: aesthetics and functionality. Given that the target audience is predominantly women, the aesthetics had to be both elegant and approachable. Functionality-wise, I designed an intuitive UI/UX that serves both the client and the provider. A feature-rich environment, the app includes a scheduling calendar, in-app chat, and the unique ability for the provider to add procedures without leaving the video screen, streamlining the consultation-to-checkout process. The result is a powerful tool that makes the decision-making process easier, more convenient, and ultimately, more compelling for the client.
